How to be Liked by Others

Here are some things you can do that will increase your chance of being like by people. None of them involves radical personality changes or plastic surgery.

1-Be a Comfortable Person

Turning yourself into a comfortable person is pretty simple. First don’t create barriers that other can’t get by, always try to be warm and friendly with everyone, especially the first time you meet them. This will help to get rid of the social awkwardness feelings that we all get. Being genuine is important too, try not to show off, avoid pride, and show genuine caring for other people.

2-Sincerely Liking Others

Begin by really paying attention to the people you're with. Focus on them and what there saying. Show an interest in what they say. People like being around people that like and uphold them in a higher light.

3-Practice Listening

Do you know anyone that doesn’t stop talking and never lets you say a word? I doubt you like being around that person. Everyone likes to talk about themselves, it makes them feel good, so overcome your desire to boost and tell fish stores. Listen to them and show an actually interested in what they are saying and they will like being around you. Try this with everyone who talks to you. When you listen, you're learning about people and you're thinking about others. This is more important (and more likely to win you friends) than making them listen to you.

4-Learn to pray for people

When you pray for someone it changes your personal attitude towards them. Prayer will help lift the relationship to a higher level.

5-give—and get—respect

Most people are not as confident as they appear, even people that we might think as popular. If you want people to like you, be kind to them. Don't be a loudmouthed, do it my way, kind of a person. If you want to be well like don't deflate anyone’s self respect. Instead build it up. You will help them to be the best they can be. Generally when you show respect to others, others will show it back to you.
